Claude forgets everything between chats. The Mengram connector fixes that: set a preference once and Claude recalls it weeks later — across every conversation on claude.ai, Desktop, and Cowork. No terminal, no config files, no API key to paste.
This is the zero-setup path. If you use Claude Code, the hooks integration captures memory automatically; for Cursor / Windsurf, see the MCP server.

Add it (30 seconds)

  1. In Claude, open Settings → Connectors.
  2. Click Add custom connector.
  3. Fill in:
    • Name: Mengram
    • Remote MCP server URL: https://mengram.io/mcp/connector
    • Leave the OAuth Client ID / Secret fields (under Advanced) empty.
  4. Click Add. Claude opens the Mengram sign-in page — enter your email and the code we send you. That’s it; the connector is live.
No account yet? The email step creates one automatically — free, no card.

What Claude can do with it

Once connected, Claude has four memory tools and uses them on its own: Try it: tell Claude “remember: I deploy with Railway”, then in a new chat ask “how do I deploy?” — it recalls Railway with no re-explaining.

Works everywhere Claude runs

Available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans. Free Claude accounts can add one custom connector. The same memory is shared across claude.ai, Claude Desktop, and Cowork — and with your Claude Code / Cursor setups if you use those too.

Privacy

  • Server-side capture policy — block whole categories (health, financial, credentials…) so sensitive information is never stored. See Capture Policy.
  • Secrets redacted before storage — API keys, tokens, and passwords never get saved.
  • Open-core (Apache-2.0), with a self-hostable backend if you want full control.

Remove or reconnect

Settings → Connectors → Mengram → remove. Re-adding uses the same email sign-in and restores access to your existing memory.
